Three Month Birthday

Holy Cannoli!!! Our little Zachary is three months old already?!?!?!? Where did my little newborn go? Suddenly this kid is laughing and smiling and.....not going to sleep as easily.

So here's whats been happening....

Weight

• 11 pounds 14 ounces - His weight has been THE most frustrating thing for me to get through. Two steps forward; One step back.....every. single. time. We have been to the doctor every two weeks since he has been born so that they can monitor his weight. They tell me that they want him to gain at least half an ounce a day, but they lie. His last visit he had gained just that and they still weren't happy. So, we're still having to supplement. I just want to get to the point where I don't have to stress about feeding him. 

Height

• 24 1/4 inches long

Sleep 

• Work in progress - Oh my, talk about a headache! This past week and a half he has been a monster!!! We could not get him to sleep no matter what we did. He would only sleep for 20/30 minute stretches and that was only if we were standing while holding him. Finally, yesterday we had a break in the stubborn streak and he successfully took his naps in his crib and went to bed with no fuss. I know that everyday is different, I'm just thankful for one good day.   

Feeding

• 3 to 4 ounces of breast milk 

Special Outings

• We had a visit from Grandma & Grandpa 
• Cousin Lizzy's Preschool Promotion 
• Auntie Kate & Cousin Lizzy's Birthday Parties
• Olivia & Lucy's Ballet Recital
• Uncle Robbie's 30th Birthday Party

Milestones

• Found his hands and is working on finding those feeties
• Gives big smiles
• Giggles
• Can ALMOST roll over from his tummy to his back
• Holds his head up great
• May or may not have started teething
• Is beginning to try and pull his upper body up

Zack's Favorites

• He loves when we read to him
• He loves his changing table - it is seriously his favorite spot
• He still loves to look at ceiling fans/lights
• He loves watching his mobile 
• He loves his new bouncing chair (courtesy of Grandma & Grandpa)
• He loves his new high chair 
• He loves bath time
• And as usual, he loves eating, sleeping & pooping
